Bought with a Price equips believers to share the Gospel biblically through street outreaches, events, and speaking at churches. We are passionate about empowering the body of Christ to preach the gospel to all creation worldwide.
About Us
We are a collective of Christians from across Melbourne and Sydney who are passionate about spreading the Good News of the Gospel.
We come from different churches across various denominations. Meeting weekly at multiple locations and times, we take the Gospel message to the streets in hopes that more people will hear the Good News and come to Christ.
Our outreaches consist of groups of team members who are knowledgeable about the word of God, have skills in presenting the gospel message, and are fully equiped with gospel tracts and Bibles to hand out.
You do not have to be perfect to join our outreaches, but you must know our Perfect God, have a good understading of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and a willing heart for the lost.
Our Story

I’ve always had a passion to share the gospel. Even when I was 7 years old I would share with my friends and open-air preach in the local park. I grew up in a church that shared the gospel with the lost and I would be unashamed. As I got more into comedy I would use that God given gift and speak in many churches, youth groups, conferences etc. I would bring clean comedy but also share about my testimony and bring the gospel in.
In late 2009 I went through a battle with anxiety and the Lord used that to wake me up as I had been lukewarm for a season of my life and I wanted to be unashamed again for the gospel. I would watch many videos and read the Bible and many good books and I was soon stirred to go back out and share with the lost out on the street. I was nervous but I soon found the more I did the easier it became.
After a while of doing it in local areas with my church I started to go out to Dandenong and then shortly after I asked my friend Chris Sandford from Living Waters Downunder to join me. We would go just outside the library and share the gospel every Friday night and sometimes on Saturdays. It was always the 2 of us and occasionally a few others would join us. In 2020 when Covid came, being locked down made our outreaches restricted.
When we finally emerged from the final lockdown by the end of 2021 we went out and a few people joined us and we had a small regular team. Soon it grew and we had a regular team of 4 or 5 and we were amazed. It continued to organically grow and before we knew it there was over 20 of us. Soon we had to split the groups up into 2 locations. In 2022, we saw exponential growth and suddenly we had 2 locations and then a mid-week outreach. At the same time, a brother in the West of Melbourne wanted us to start a team in the West. In 2023, it grew more and more but a more steady and slow growth.
Now in 2024, we have 12-13 teams all over Melbourne and Sydney. On average we have 40 people a week who regularly go out and share the gospel. God has given the increase. We have prayed earnestly for more harvesters.
“Then He said to His disciples, “The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.””
A team of us from our outreach teams gather on zoom daily to pray for our teams, prayer requests and praying for more harvesters. Honestly that prayer has been answered. We’re not just seeing people come as a one off but seeing people stay. I pray that God would keep us humble and if this is all He needs to do, so be it. However, I’d love to see more harvesters come and see teams all over Melbourne, Sydney and Australia. Even all across the world, the harvest is plentiful and I’d love to see Bought with a Price outreach teams.
We’re an eclectic bunch of followers of Jesus. Some from conservative backgrounds and some from charismatic backgrounds. Yet we can all come together with unity and like Paul said,
“For I determined not to know anything among you except Jesus Christ and Him crucified.”
I’m also excited at the future growth of not only teams but in the area of media. This past year, we’ve filmed many of our witnessing encounters and can be found on the Bought with a Price YouTube Channel. We’ve seen outreaches in London, Australia, New Zealand, Paris and I’m looking forward to more. In the near future, a Bought with a Price, Podcast will start and other gospel centred projects such as comedy events that will present the gospel. All in all, my aim is to point people towards Christ!
